The Fund was founded in 2014 in accordance with the decision of the leadership of the ​​Soldiers of Peace International Association, to prepare and implement comprehensive support programs for the UN and specialized agencies of the UN system, to ensure the activities of the UN Office of Global Programs of the SPIA HSDF, including within the framework of the UN Global Cluster, rescue and humanitarian UN operations, the Investment for Peace program, the UN peacebuilding program, nuclear disarmament and conventional arms reduction programs, mine action and humanitarian demining, social adaptation of participants in UN peacekeeping operations, medical and social rehabilitation of victims of war and armed conflicts, natural disasters, assistance to the countries participating in the UN peacekeeping activities, including in increasing the peacekeeping potential, adaptation and use of international standards for reforms.
